At the beginning of November you moved to a new location; what was the main reason to do so?
We were short of space for all the different disciplines within the business. In the new location we are able to offer what you expect from a modern retailer.
The building has a very specific, open plan layout; was this your choice or did you inherit it from the former tenant?
We designed the layout together with Jos Baijens the architect. We created the space bearing in mind that we wanted to offer an environment where customers can sit comfortably. They can relax with a coffee and a biscuit whilst browsing frame collections and specific lens information.
How do the existing customer react to the new shop and facilities?
People are positively surprised and comment that the practice is really cool and completely different.
